These images were made for a story by Anna Schecter, Cynthia McFadden and Melissa Chan for NBC News about mothers based at Camp Lejeune who were ‘inexplicably’ suffering miscarriages, stillbirths, and/or gave birth to children with severe disabilities, not to mention the myriad health outcomes the women experienced themselves; they are seeking justice now that it has come to light that these outcomes were caused by contaminated drinking water.
